Co-edited by UBC Civil Engineering prof. Don Mavinic, the Journal of Environmental Engineering and Science (JEES) will be re-launched this year by The Institution of Civil Engineers. It will begin publishing quarterly at the onset and progress to six editions per year. The journal aims to provide a forum for the dissemination of environmental research, while encouraging interdisciplinary research collaboration to address environmental problems.
Former director of the UBC Geological Engineering Program and current EOS Professor Roger Beckie and Civil Engineering Adjunct Professor Ken Ashley will sit on the journal’s editorial board.
