Biography

Hartaj Sanghara is an instructor with the Departments of Civil Engineering and Electrical and Computer Engineering. She has a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from Queen’s University plus a Diploma in Education, Counselling Psychology, from the University of British Columbia (UBC). Ms. Sanghara teaches technical communication and integrated design project courses. She has worked with UBC Extended Learning, and she has experience in teaching academic writing and business writing. In addition, Ms. Sanghara has extensive experience as a communications specialist and a print and e-services manager mainly with the Ministry of Health. She enjoys both teaching and writing, and she also designs and delivers custom writing workshops.

Research Interests

Technical communication and education, including curriculum development, course design, blended learning, e-learning, emerging technology, and sustainability.
